The Medina County Economic Development Corporation, for the third consecutive year, has organized this business outreach program. Since the majority of job growth comes from businesses already located in our community, business retention is vital to the county’s economic stability. The May visitation program allows the elected officials and the Medina County Economic Development Corporation to establish or maintain cooperative working relationships with the business community and become a first point of contact for growing companies.
There were 85 visits completed this year. During these visits, companies had the opportunity to discuss issues of concern and to learn more about how their government works to support them.
