Lots of people ask: Whatever happened to Voices & Choices?

There are two answers:
1. Voices & Choices ended after more than 20,000 of residents of Northeast Ohio helped the region set its economic development priorities.

2. Voices & Choices evolved into an economic action plan, called Advance Northeast Ohio that is all about turning your priorities into actions and results.

Participants in Voices & Choices did this region a tremendous service when they helped set our economic development priorities. Participants spoke with a clear, united voice. Among the things we heard them say was that no problem is “too tough” for us in Northeast Ohio to tackle.

Whether the issue is government reform, excellent public schools or increasing opportunities for minorities, you expect Northeast Ohio to meet the challenge. That is the mission of Advance Northeast Ohio.

The Fund for Our Economic Future organized Voices & Choices because it was essential that the residents of our great region be educated about the challenges and opportunities facing Northeast Ohio. We also felt it was important that the residents guide us as we work on our mission of transforming our region’s economy.

The priorities residents set in Voices & Choices became the four action areas of Advance Northeast Ohio. It is up to you to help make sure we stay true to your vision for a brighter future. We invite you to be active, engaged participants in Advance Northeast Ohio, just as you were in Voices & Choices.
