Announcement From American Hospitality Group
American Hospitality Group reports construction has begun on the new 92 room Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Medina, Ohio. The hotel is located at 5185 Gateway Dr., just off of I-71 & Rt 18 in Medina. The hotel is being built to the all new prototype specifications for the brand and will include an indoor pool and extensive fitness center. The hotel is scheduled to open in May of 2016.

Congratulations to Campbell Construction
Congratulations to Campbell Construction on the ground breaking at Clampco Products, located on Wall Road in Wadsworth, OH. On April 22, 2015 Clampco broke ground on a 60,000 square foot expansion, its second expansion since the original structure was built by Campbell Construction, in 1991. When complete in December of 2015, the facility will total 132,000 square feet and will more than double Clampco’s current production capability.
Those in attendance for the groundbreaking were John Campbell (President of Campbell Construction), Owners Jim and Linda Venner, Jason Venner, Mayor Robin Laubaugh, Fred Moser(39 year Clampco employee), City Service Director Robert Patrick, Jerry Biagini (Clampco, General Manager), Jeff Stevenson (VP of Bus. Dev. Campbell Construction), Harry Stark (Wadsworth Economic Dev. Dir.) Gary Cottrill (Clampco Maintenance Mngr.), and the other 155 employees of Clampco Products.
Ruhlin Company Awarded Congract
The Ruhlin Company is part of the Trumbull, Great Lakes, Ruhlin (TGR) joint venture design-build team that was successful winning the second I-90 Inner Belt contract (Construction Contract Group 2 or “CCG2”).
The project encompasses I-90 eastbound from I-490 to I-77 in Cleveland, Ohio, and includes the demolition of the existing I-90 Central Viaduct Bridge, the reconstruction of nine (9) side street overpasses, construction of the new I-90 Viaduct east bound bridge, and all associated roadway and paving work. Additionally, several City of Cleveland streets will be reconstructed as part of the contract. In the fall of 2013, the project was awarded to TGR and designer URS Corporation for a bid amount of $273 million.

Medina Hospital Recognition
Congratulations to Board Member Dr. Thomas L. Tulisiak who was named Humanitarian Physician of the Year. In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Tulisiak has served Medina County as President of Medina Hospital and in leadership roles at the Brunswick Family Health Center, Medina County Society of Handicapped Citizens, Medina County Economic Development Corporation and the Medina Chamber of Commerce.

Clinical RM has been awarded a contract to support early-stage human clinical trials of investigational infectious disease treatments by The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health.
