Brunswick City Facts
Strategically located midway between Cleveland and Akron, Brunswick is an excellent location for commercial and industrial development. The largest city in Medina County, this fast-growing area is noted for its quick and easy access to highway, air and water transportation. Brunswick has three fully developed industrial parks situated just off of State Route 303 and directly adjacent to Interstate 71.
The Industrial Park North, also called Nationwide Industrial Park, is a 260-acre park, which is nearing full build-out but with a few ready-to-build lots still available. Commerce Center, or the Geis Industrial Park, is 85-acres adjacent to North Industrial Park and it is the newest industrial park that also includes approximately 38 acres designated a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ). South Business Park, also known as the Forest City Industrial Park, is a 79-acre park located across from the North Industrial Park, just off S.R. 303 and I-71. All of these industrial parks are in the city’s Enterprise Zone and Community Reinvestment Area in which property tax abatements are possible. For more information on these industrial parks, please contact Grant Aungst, City of Brunswick Economic Development Manager at (330) 558-6875, or visit the City of Brunswick.
Brunswick is a growing community that boasts 15 scenic city and neighborhood parks totaling 300 acres and its own multi-million dollar Brunswick Recreation Center which is located on the same campus as the Brunswick Branch of the Medina County Library and Brunswick Senior High School.
