Village of Lodi Demographics
Village of Lodi Facts
Located in the southwest part of Medina County in Harrisville Township, Lodi is 28 miles west of Akron and 33 miles south of Cleveland. With easy access to I-71, I-76 and U.S. 224 and U.S. 42, nearby commercial growth has blossomed with the addition of Prime Outlets, an extensive retail area. The entire Village of Lodi now offers a Community Reinvestment Area to encourage prospective industrial and commercial growth, as well as improvements to vintage housing. Another advantage to locating your business in Lodi is that it has its own municipal electric and water utilities. These prove to be beneficial to companies that use a lot of electric and/or water because the rates are often lower than those of the larger utility companies.
Established in 1811, Lodi is the oldest settlement in Medina County. It retains its small town flavor and neighborly country atmosphere through its charming community festivals and the warm friendliness of its residents. The area is well known for its sprawling country homes, horse farms and sweet corn fields. With three parks and a significant amount of acreage for available industrial sites, Lodi is a wonderful environment in which to live and work.
