One of the most scenic communities of Medina County, Hinckley Township offers an excellent location for businesses to establish themselves and wonderful quality of life.
Hinckley Township offers two areas of industrial development on West 130th Street, on both the north and south sides of S.R. 303. Each of these areas is in a Community Reinvestment Area in which real property tax abatement is possible. They include Hinckley Corporate Park, Jemm Industrial Park and Opportunities Business Park. These industrial areas are located two minutes from I-71 and just east of the Brunswick Industrial Parks. Interstate 80/Ohio Turnpike is just six miles to the north and Interstate 271 lies four miles to the south. Passenger, freight and private air facilities at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport are only 12 miles (15 minute drive) to the north.
With its rolling hills landscape, Hinckley boasts some of the most spectacular home sites in Medina County. Hinckley is home to the Cleveland Metro Parks’ Hinckley Reservation, which includes Whipps Ledges and the famous Buzzards’ Roost. Residents, as well as thousands of annual visitors to the Hinckley area, enjoy the hiking, boating, swimming and picnicking that is offered by this jewel in the Emerald Necklace of parks in Northeastern Ohio.
Hinckley’s industrial areas, with their easy accessibility to major distribution points and proximity to adjacent industrial parks, attractive home sites, and acres of outdoor recreation areas make ideal locations to work and play.
